This makes twice in 6 weeks... both at my apartment complex. First, some nasty-looking dents in the door from (a boot?), now, some jackass in a truck or SUV couldn't figure out how to back up straight, leaving me with a mangled rear quarter panel and no note. I even found the vehicle (and owner!) responsible for it, but as the officer said, "Without a witness, it's damn near impossible to prove anything." Well, at least everything's on the same side, and at least I still have comprehensive and a low deductible on my Z. I'm insured with USAA (very good), and they're sending an adjuster tomorrow morning to appraise the damages. They told me I can either use one of their recommended shops, or I can bring it to one of my choosing and they'll cut me a check for [dollar amount of damages as appraised, minus deductible]. My questions (thanks in advance): -Is there anything Z32-related I should let the adjuster know? For example, my car is pearl white... I'm planning to explain that a shop will need to mix something to color-match my car, and may have to repaint the entire side (but I don't know if he'll even care). -The metal below the gas cap is folder over in a...not good... way. Is it part of the body panel (and/or easy to replace?), or does it suggest "deeper" damage? -Anybody have any comments about Vitally at Pitstop Performance (Phoenix, AZ) or his prices? Unless somebody has another place they'd recommend, I'll probably have all the work done there. (I know his shop is highly recommended for mechanical work, but I've heard nothing with regard to body/paint). -Any other dealing-with-insurance-claims advice would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, here's the damage:

And yes, the tire does hit the wheel well whenever I go over a bump. I'm trying not to drive her until this is taken care of.
